ABOUT STEFANIE
Stefanie has a background in labour law, worked for 2 years in an international law firm (Baker&McKenzie) and for 7 years in a big corporate (BASF SE) in the HR department handling individual & collective HR matters. She was also the HR project lead in various international M&A transactions. Since 5 years she is working as a freelance consultant and facilitator. She is also currently the Director of the Zen Center Regensburg e.V. under the guidance of the internationally renowned Zenmaster Hyon Gak Sunim.
During her corporate years, she discovered her real passion in life: helping others to connect to themselves and others in more meaningful and more human ways – to bring something into the world that makes a positive difference.
She ultimately went on her own soul-searching journey and immersed herself deeply in all sorts of self-exploratory experiences ranging from Zen meditation, breathwork to bodywork. She lived in a Buddhist monastery / seminar house in the Odenwald for two years and became very inspired by the insights monastic life has to offer to modern society. She was also deeply impacted by the silent retreats she experienced in Zen Center Regensburg e.V.
Stefanie is trained as a hypno-systemic coach by Dr. Gunther Schmidt, Milton Erickson Institute, and completed the Trigon Training on holistic systemic team- and organizational development and solution-oriented conflict management. She also trained with Dr. Stephen Gilligen (“Systemic Trance”) and participated in many courses on Buddhist psychology.
Clients appreciate Stefanie for her clarity, her empathy and her ability to invite people to step out of their emotional comfort zone. She is a skilled facilitator who will often invite her clients to get out of their head and to come back to their body to connect to their “gut feelings” and deeper intuition – dimensions of our being that are neglected in our culture.
Stefanie works both in German and in English.
